Fair Play
Every player has the right to compete in “clean sport” and fair competitions. We all have the responsibility to protect the rights of clean and honest players.
The BWF’s “i am” integrity campaign is about players, coaches, managers and administrators and working together to protect our sport from threats like doping, match fixing, illegal betting and corruption.
You can get more information on anti-doping and anti-match fixing programmes from the Integrity pages of the website.
The BWF constitution has a clear message about clean and honest badminton.
“Players at all levels must be able to participate in badminton which is free of drugs, violence, discrimination, technical manipulation, cheating and any form of exploitation in an attempt to win or to manipulate the outcome of a match” (BWF constitution – clause 4.2).
